The Family

The Court Curio Shop is a fourth generation family business. Started in 1945 by Jean Weir. Her daughter Joy Bain joined her for a while before her son, Benjie took over the reigns for some years in the 80s. Joy & her husband Colin worked right up into their 70's until illness made it impossible for them to carry on.

That's when their daughter, Lorna stepped in.  Ably assisted by her son Abe and in more recent years, her daughter Josie.
